NEW YORK -- Bobby Parnell has avoided arbitration by agreeing to the same $3.7 million salary he earned last season, sources told ESPNNewYork.com.
Parnell, 30, appeared on Opening Day last season, then underwent Tommy John surgery.
Sandy Alderson has suggested that Parnell likely will open the season on the disabled list and be activated a few weeks into the season.
Terry Collins has indicated that Parnell's closer's job should revert to him once he is ready.
Here are the Mets' other arbitration-eligible players/cases, which have yet to be settled, with projected 2015 salaries:
Daniel Murphy $8.1M
Dillon Gee $4.99M
Lucas Duda $4.25M
Jenrry Mejia $2.5M
Ruben Tejada $1.7M
