Nets point guard Deron Williams ranks fifth among Eastern Conference guards in the NBA All-Star voting as of Thursday afternoon's first returns on the ballot.
Here's a look at the count:
Derrick Rose (Chi) 640,476
Dwyane Wade (Mia) 637,912
Rajon Rondo (Bos) 253,969
Ray Allen (Bos) 174,934
Deron Williams (NJN) 89,128
Kris Humphries and Anthony Morrow, the Nets' other two representatives on the ballot, are not among the leaders -- not like that's a surprise or anything.
Humphries is averaging a very respectable 13.1 points and 10.4 rebounds, while Morrow is starting to heat up from 3-point range. He's 19 for his last 33 from downtown.
