Joba Chamberlain has put a nickname on his bullpen mate Daid Robertson -- "Houdini."
It is an oldie, but goodie and very apt handle for Robertson, who got the Yankees out of another tough spot on Saturday. In the seventh, with one out and runners on the corners, Joe Girardi summoned Robertson. The Yankees were up 6-3 so it was a big spot.
Robertson struck out Carlos Beltran swinging and got Jason Bay to pop out.
This season against Robertson, opponents are batting .128 (5-for-39) with runners in runners in scoring position. In their past 11 at-bats, they are hitless.
