An A-Bomb for A-Rod

TRENTON, N.J. -- In the third inning of Alex Rodriguez's rehab, A-Rod hit a long two-run homer off Jesse Biddle that cleared the left-center field wall at Arm & Hammer Stadium. On contact, A-Rod knew it was gone and looked toward the dugout.

When Rodriguez stepped to the plate, he was greeted by more boos than cheers, but as he rounded the bases there were just cheers. It was such a long blast that Fightin' Phils left fielder Kelly Dugan barely moved after A-Rod made contact.

We will have more on A-Rod's night in a Rapid Reaction, which will be up soon. A-Rod is expected to speak after he is finished playing.
