Williams Wall trial delayed indefinitely

In what is no doubt a shocker to everyone in NFC Northville, the Williams Wall trial has been delayed. Again.

Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press explains the situation in detail. The trial had been scheduled to start March 8 in Hennepin County District Court.

In brief, the NFL wants the case moved back to federal court. A hearing will be scheduled in front of U.S. District Court Judge Paul Magnuson to determine if the league's claim has merit.

There has been some semi-serious discussion about whether this case will conclude before Pat Williams, 38, retires. Now you have to wonder if Kevin Williams, 29, will complete his career by then as well.

Don't fret. Free agency 2010 begins in less than 12 hours.
