The NFC North is the home of the only rookie named as an Associated Press first-team All-Pro. Congratulations to Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for that honor.
Suh had already been named a Pro Bowl starter after leading NFL interior linemen with 10 sacks. He is recovering from shoulder surgery and thus won't play in the game, but Monday's news affirmed what we discussed for much of last season: Suh was one of the top defensive tackles in the game. The last rookie defensive linemen to be a first-team All-Pro was the Tennessee Titans' Jevon Kearse in 1999.
