I did a bit of sleuthing Thursday morning and some of you aren't going to like what I found out. After about three days of voting, Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is still leading Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the ESPN.com tournament to determine the cover of "Madden '12."
The winner of this semifinal bracket will advance to the finals next week against either Minnesota Vikings tailback Adrian Peterson or Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. As we noted Monday, the Browns were heavily promoting Hillis' candidacy on their website.
Many of you Packers fans have insisted on voting for Hillis as well, based on the mailbag submissions I've gotten. Mostly, you're worried about the so-called "Madden Curse." If that's the case, I suggest you read (and heed) what Rodgers himself tweeted Thursday morning:
"I don't like losing and I don't believe in the curse. Workout time...."
Finalists will be announced Monday at noon ET. Until then, you can vote for ... whomever ... through this link.
