Here's a copy of a story I just sent to our news desk.
The season is about to end for Tampa Bay rookie defensive tackle Brian Price.
The second-round draft pick will be placed on injured reserve this afternoon, according to a team source. Price has been sidelined most of the season with a pelvis injury.
He and first-round pick Gerald McCoy were drafted to solidify the middle of a Tampa Bay defensive line that struggled last season. But Price was injured off and on since training camp and hasn’t been much of a factor.
Second-year pro Roy Miller has been starting next to McCoy.
