Atlanta receiver Roddy White and Tampa Bay cornerback Aqib Talib were honored with 2010 NFL Alumni Player of the Year awards over the weekend in North Texas.
The top player at each position was selected by former NFL players, who also selected a Coach of the Year (Kansas City’s Todd Haley) and Player of the Year (Pittsburgh’s Troy Polamalu).
Talib was selected as the top defensive back, despite missing one game due to suspension and having his season cut short by injury. Talib tied for fifth in the NFL with six interceptions.
