ESPN’s panel of experts is in total agreement on this week’s games involving NFC South teams.
The New Orleans Saints are a unanimous choice against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I find that mildly surprising. Yeah, the Saints are playing at home. But they did lose to the Bucs in Tampa in Week 6, so I think Tampa Bay at least has a chance.
The panel also is unanimous in picking the Atlanta Falcons to beat the Indianapolis Colts. Totally understandable because the Colts are struggling with Peyton Manning and the Falcons are showing some signs they might be ready to be the team so many expected at the start of the season.
But we should include one cautionary tale about unanimous picks. Last week, the entire panel picked the Saints over the St. Louis Rams. How did that work out?
