Saints, Bucs can't stop the YAC

When it comes to allowing yards after the catch, two NFC South teams are the worst in the league.

There aren’t many statistical categories in which the 10-3 Saints are going to rank No. 32, but this is one. The Saints have allowed 1,904 yards after the catch, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

The 4-9 Buccaneers are the only team even remotely close to the Saints. The Bucs have given up 1,771 yards after the catch and rank No. 31. For comparison, the Philadelphia Eagles are No. 30 and they’ve allowed 1,653 yards after the catch.

There’s not a single NFC South team that’s faring well in this category. The Carolina Panthers are No. 25 with 1,543 yards coming after the catch.

The Atlanta Falcons have allowed a division-low 1,459 yards, but they’re No. 18 in the league.
