The Seahawks have hired recently retired 49ers linebacker Jeff Ulbrich as an assistant coach, John Clayton reports.

I don't have additional details at this point. Ulbrich is presumably serving as assistant special-teams coach under Brian Schneider.

In two other NFC West coaching moves, former Seattle special-teams coach has landed a similar job with the Bills, while former Seahawks quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor is the new offensive coordinator at Virginia.
