Thoughts on Rams' lower prices

The Rams announced lower prices for most tickets to their 2010 games after having trouble selling out the Edward Jone Dome last season.

The team has gone from 3-13 to 2-14 to 1-15 over the last three seasons. The economy has headed in the same direction. Those factors made the Rams' decision a logical one. They would presumably charge more if more people were willing to pay more.

The Falcons, Panthers, Chargers, Redskins, Chiefs, Seahawks, 49ers and Cardinals visit St. Louis in the upcoming season. Six of those eight teams failed to finish last season with winning records. The other two, San Diego and Arizona, could have diminished star power now that Kurt Warner has retired and LaDainian Tomlinson has been released.
