Rams' offensive line not the problem

Jose writes via Facebook: Thanks for keeping us up to date on the NFC West during this offseason. Everyone seems to malign the Rams' OL, but it seems like last year the problem was that WRs just could not get open and thus the QBs were forced to hold onto the ball for longer. Would you agree that this was the case?

Mike Sando: The Rams' line, at its best, had a chance to become the strongest in the division. Injuries prevented that from happening. Jason Smith's concussion issues were a big part of the problem. Throw in Richie Incognito's release and injuries to Jacob Bell, among others, and the line really had no chance by the end of the season. I think the Rams' line is the strength of the team at this point, health permitting.
