I explained my reasoning for thinking Seattle's victory at Arizona was potentially pivotal within the division. The Seahawks' road game against San Francisco in Week 14 stands out as another opportunity for Seattle to inflict season-altering damage on a division rival.
Sweeping Arizona (done) and San Francisco (halfway complete) would make it difficult for Seattle to lose its NFC West lead -- unless the St. Louis Rams begin winning road games (including against Seattle in Week 17).
Of course, all that hypothesizing is subject to key variables that seem to change almost weekly.
