SEATTLE -- Matt Hasselbeck appears to be doing enough in warmups, at least in my unofficial view, to start for the Seattle Seahawks against the St. Louis Rams.
Hasselbeck, sidelined by a hip injury most of the week, is taking full-speed dropbacks and throwing passes up to about 40 yards. He appears to be moving normally.
The Seahawks listed Hasselbeck as questionable on their injury report. I read that as an indication he would likely play against the Rams given the stakes. Backup Charlie Whitehurst took more reps during practice, which should help him if he does wind up playing.
The early view, however, suggests Hasselbeck will make the start.
