Video: Andy Dalton next Seahawks QB?

Mike Tirico, Trent Dilfer, Chris Mortensen and Mel Kiper Jr. put the Seattle Seahawks on the clock in ESPN's latest team preview for the 2011 NFL draft.

Not surprisingly, they focused on quarterbacks.

"I will almost be shocked if the Seahawks do not pick a quarterback," Mortensen said.

Dilfer pointed to TCU's Andy Dalton as the best fit among quarterbacks the team could consider with the 25th overall choice. He called 2011 a "perfect year" to look for a quarterback in that range of the first round because he thought Dalton, Ryan Mallett and Jake Locker could be available.

Dilfer thought Dalton's strong personality and quick release made him an ideal fit for Seattle.

Two other situations could affect the Seahawks' search for a quarterback in this draft: Matt Hasselbeck's contract status and whether the trade market/free agency open before the draft.
