One sentence per NFC West team from my conversation with St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bernie Miklasz on 101ESPN St. Louis:
On the Arizona Cardinals: "I almost wonder if in the back of their minds they wouldn't mind having those top quarterbacks off the board when they pick, and then it's not an issue."
On the San Francisco 49ers: "If not the best pass-rusher, is the best cornerback there, and then you make the decision accordingly."
On the St. Louis Rams: "I certainly trust Steve Spagnuolo's judgment on defensive linemen better than some of the other guys they've had making those decision in the Rams' building."
On the Seattle Seahawks: "Now is the year when they roll up their sleeves and acknowledge there is a ton of work to be done and it may not be glitzly and pretty, but they have to improve on the lines."
