The Arizona Cardinals could have additional incentive for becoming a playoff team again.

The team's home stadium is in the running to host the Super Bowl following the 2014 season. Tampa Bay is the other finalist.

Final bids are due Aug. 1, with the NFL's decision scheduled to come in October.

The New England Patriots and New York Giants played the last Super Bowl in Arizona, following the 2008 season.
