2012 Michael Crabtree vs. Anquan Boldin
Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin each played in 19 regular-season and postseason games for their teams last season.
Each topped 100 yards receiving and scored a touchdown for his team in the Super Bowl.
The two will be playing together in 2013 after the San Francisco 49ers acquired Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens for a 2013 sixth-round draft choice. The deal, contingent on Boldin passing a physical examination, will remain unofficial while Boldin is on a charitable trip to Africa.
The chart shows each player's receiving production last season from Week 1 through the Super Bowl.
Note that Crabtree gained a much higher percentage of his yardage after the catch. Boldin ran deeper routes in one of the NFL's more vertical offenses. The 49ers' offense figures to evolve around quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
