Update: Thurmond's return doubtful

The Seattle Seahawks went into Week 7 excited to see Walter Thurmond move into the starting lineup following Marcus Trufant's placement on injured reserve.

The team went into halftime Sunday without Thurmond, who rode to the locker room on a cart after colliding with teammate Earl Thomas while defending a Cleveland Browns deep pass late in the second quarter.

Team doctors appeared to be looking at Thurmond's left leg. Thurmond suffered a career-threatening injury to his right knee at the University of Oregon. I'll update this item with additional details when I have them.

Rookie Richard Sherman moves up the depth chart with Thurmond out. Seattle trails 3-0 at halftime against the Browns.

Update: Ankle injury for Thurmond. Return is doubtful. That is from the team.
