Russell Wilson and Tom Brady had similar career starts

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and New England Patriots QB Tom Brady have more in common than many people realize entering the Super-Bowl matchup between these two teams.

Wilson will become the youngest quarterback to start two Super Bowls, breaking the mark set by Brady, according to Elias Sports Bureau. Brady was 26 and 6 months in his second Super Bowl on Feb. 1, 2004. Wilson is 26 and 2 months for this Super Bowl.

Some people don’t see Wilson as the same franchise-type quarterback as Brady, but they have similar statistics in their careers for their first three seasons as starters. Brady did not become the New England starter until his second season.
