Titans TE Delanie Walker not selected to Pro Bowl

Delanie Walker, TE: Walker leads all NFL tight ends with 76 catches and is third at the position with 935 yards and 104 targets. He said he was not surprised that he was finished ninth in fan voting, calling selection a popularity contest. The Titans had only one prime-time game, but Walker is a big fantasy value. Even without the fan vote, the votes of coaches and players, which also count one-third each, could have put him over the top. Alas, he didn’t get enough there, either. After two touchdowns on two catches in a loss at New England on Sunday, he said he was indifferent to milestones and recognition. “People say, ‘He’s on a bad team,’” Walker said. “But I’m doing it on a bad team. I get confused because I would think that you should praise that. If he’s doing it on a bad team, and you know I am getting the ball, then stop me.” Walker is a first alternate, as is Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey.
