The 142nd Kentucky Derby brought out a few NFL stars, including New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton, who received a little air time as he gave the official command “riders up” before the race.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Denver Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez also were seen enjoying Saturday's festivities.

Here's a look at how a few others documented their experience at Churchill Downs on Saturday via social media.

Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera promised to show off his look and he didn't disappoint, sporting a custom hat and checkered vest.

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf made the trip to the Derby and when asked who he's betting on, he replied: "I'm not betting on Tom Benson's horses!" Saints owner Tom Benson had two horses competing in the Derby.

Packers offensive tackles Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari showed off their fresh look at the Derby.
