CHICAGO -- It's a gorgeous afternoon at Soldier Field and players from both teams have taken the field for warm-ups. I'm going to be keeping a close eye on the field conditions during this game. They played a high school game here Friday night and the playing surface took a beating.
The Bears think a chunky field could play to their advantage because it might neutralize Michael Vick's speed to a certain extent. I'm not so sure about that. The Bears have gotten fat off the easiest schedule in the league. They'll try to hold Vick in check with a Cover 2 scheme, but I still think he'll pick them apart.
The Eagles have arrived at 7-3 with the fourth-toughest strength of schedule in the league. It wouldn't surprise me if they won this game in a romp. I'm going to go monitor our other two NFC East teams for a bit. I'll get back to you soon.
