Not all is lost for the 0-4 Oakland Raiders at their bye week.
Their punter is doing well. Second-year punter Marquette King -- who replaced longtime punter Shane Lechler -- received honorable mention in ESPN.com’s punter of the week for his performance in Sunday’s loss to Miami.
King averaged 47.2 net yards on six punts. He pinned the Dolphins at their 10-yard line or inside it four times. King is doing his job.
So, at least the Raiders know they are getting solid work from their punter as they try to turn around their fortunes coming out of their bye.
