Locker, Washington flop on big stage

Martinez, Nebraska Run All Over Washington (0:55)

Taylor Martinez accounts for 4 TDs as Nebraska runs over Washington (0:55)

Nebraska pounded Washington. And it made Jake Locker look like a below-average quarterback, not an NFL first-round pick.

The Cornhuskers rolled 56-21, outgaining the Huskies 533 yards to 246.

Locker? He completed 4 of 20 passes for 71 yards with two interceptions. Locker threw for a touchdown and and ran for a touchdown, but this game probably rates as the worst performance of his career.

The Huskies defense was physically dominated. And the offense was only slightly better -- see 175 yards rushing.

Washington falls to 1-2. It has a bye this week, so it can lick it wounds before visiting USC on Oct. 2.
