Pac-10 predictions: Week 10

Went 5-0 last week and improved to 43-12 on the year (.782).

But a nine-game winning streak will not make me cocky.

Nine and Ohhhhhh! Wheeee.

Oregon 62, Washington 13: Apropos of nothing, you can create an infinity symbol -- it won't post on the blog for some reason -- when you press and hold the "Alt" key on your keyboard and type 2, 3, 6 on your numeric keypad and then release the Alt key. Pretty cool, eh? Again, there's no reason I bring that up here.

California 41, Washington State 28: Honestly, I thought about picking the upset. Cal is on the road, after all, and the Bears are turning to backup quarterback Brock Mansion. But the Cougars have a long injury list. And there's the little matter of the effort last week at Arizona State.

Oregon State 35, UCLA 24: Much like The Dude, the Beavers abide.

Arizona State 30, USC 27: The Sun Devils have lost 10 in a row to USC, the longest streak in the Pac-10. They are due. And you'd think the Trojans might be flat after the deflating loss to Oregon.

Stanford 31, Arizona 27: This one feels like a highly competitive battle that will be in doubt until the final minutes. The edge goes to the home team with quarterback Andrew Luck matched against Arizona's QB situation -- Nick Foles coming back from injury with Matt Scott waiting in the wings -- that seems just slightly, well, hard to gauge.
