Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli and safety T.J. Ward are less "day-to-day" today than they've been in a while.
Ducks coach Chip Kelly refuses to provide specific information about injured players -- every player is "day-to-day" -- but it appears that Masoli and Ward are progressing toward the optimistic side of questionable for the visit to Washington on Saturday.
Masoli, who hurt his knee against Washington State on Oct. 3, practiced Monday morning in full-pads. The Eugene Register-Guard said Masoli is "preparing as the starter."
"Jeremiah looked good to me," Kelly said. "He took his normal amount of reps today and so did [backup Nate Costa]. We're preparing Nate and Jeremiah to play in the game."
Costa started at UCLA on Oct. 10. The Ducks had a bye last weekend.
Ward has been out since hurting his ankle in the season-opener at Boise State. Kelly seemed to intimate he's still not his old self.
"Until T.J. is really flying around out there -- we haven't made any decisions on what our rotation will be [in the secondary] or on moving guys around until we get T.J. back in the mix," he said.
Redshirt freshman John Boyett has played well in Ward's stead.
