Masoli update

Posted by ESPN.com's Ted Miller

Oregon coach Chip Kelly didn't reveal much new about the status of quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who practiced again in full pads Tuesday morning.

On Monday, Kelly said Masoli, who's nursing a knee injury, looked good running the first-team offense but wouldn't say if he would start at Washington.

And this morning?

"He looked good today, too," Kelly said.

Masoli hurt his knee against Washington State on Oct. 3 and missed the UCLA game the following weekend. Backup Nate Costa started Oregon's 24-10 victory. The Ducks had a bye last week.

This is from the Eugene Register-Guard:

Masoli was in full pads and had tape on his right knee but no brace. He continues to prepare with the first-string offense for Saturday’s game at Washington.

That suggests that Masoli is on track to start, but it's certainly not a sure-thing.
