Kiper: Present, future Pac-12 NFL prospects

ESPN.com NFL draft guru Mel Kiper has updated his list of the top-five players by positionInsider, and the Pac-12 is No. 1 at three positions.

Stanford's Andrew Luck is the No. 1 QB, USC's Matt Kalil is the No. 1 OT and Stanford's David DeCastro is the No. 1 OG.

Some other Pac-12 players who made the top five.

Changes? Last week, Washington's Chris Polk was the No. 5 RB. This week, he was off the list.

The Pac-12 rates fairly well on Kiper's list of top returning seniorsInsider. The conference produces top-rated guys at quarterback, center, outside linebacker, safety and punter.

USC's Matt Barkley is No. 1 at QB, USC's Khaled Holmes is No. 1 at center, Stanford's Chase Thomas is No. 1 at outside LB, USC's T.J. McDonald is No. 1 at safety and UCLA's Jeff Locke is No. 1 at punter.

Remember: This is only returning seniors. Doesn't include guys like USC WR Robert Woods, who may end up the No. 1 receiver in the draft if he opts to leave after junior year.
