Is your team going to the 99th Rose Bowl? Oh, really? Well, why don't you go ahead and buy a ticket to the Grandaddy now?
Ah, not so confident, are you?
Well, here's a cool way to hedge your bets: a "TeamTix" reservation.
What is that, you say? Let us explain.
Go to the official Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO website and purchase a "TeamTix" reservation for the game for as little as $15.
If your team receives a berth to the game in December, you can then purchase a ticket at face value. If your team is not selected, the reservation expires. But you're not necessarily out $15.
You can also resell or trade the ticket reservation in the Rose Bowl's hosted market exchange, where reservation prices rise and fall based on each team's on-field performance and demand for tickets. Also, special team-specific Twitter hashtags will enable fans to closely follow their team's forward marketplace to buy, sell and trade in real time.
So buying a Rose Bowl ticket almost can be like buying a stock. Only more fun.
This will be the third time The Ticket Reserve, Inc., has partnered with the Rose Bowl, which will use a Forward Market proprietary software platform.
The Rose Bowl is Jan. 1, 2013. So start making plans now. You know your team is going to make it!
Oh, by the way, the 2013 BCS National Championship Game's forward market is presently active and fans are already trading and buying tickets for the January 7, 2013 game.
