A couple weeks ago, my esteemed colleague Kevin Gemmell took a stab at naming five candidates who have a chance to keep the Heisman Trophy in the Pac-12. The only problem with it was that there was only five names. Granted, it was the five names that make the most sense (Cody Kessler, Devontae Booker, Jared Goff, Scooby Wright, Adoree' Jackson) but, still, how absurd!

Over the past several months, at least 12 other Pac-12 players have been mentioned as Heisman candidates in some form or fashion. While they all remain on undefeated teams, here they are:

• Arizona QB Anu Solomon, Oregon RB Royce Freeman

• Arizona RB Nick Wilson

• Arizona State WR/RB D.J. Foster

• Oregon QB Vernon Adams, ASU QB Mike Bercovici, Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey, UCLA QB Josh Rosen

• Stanford QB Kevin Hogan

• UCLA RB Paul Perkins

• UCLA LB Myles Jack

• USC WR Juju Smith-Schuster
