Last week, it was a tough call picking between the two Los Angeles schools for the top spot, but #Pac12AfterDark has a way of changing things up and made it easy this week. The Bruins' survival against BYU keeps them on course for the College Football Playoff, while USC's hiccup against Stanford means the Trojans will have to work their way back up the pecking order.
Give Stanford credit: It was impressive against USC, but its loss to Northwestern still prevents much of a climb. We didn't learn much about Utah or Arizona as they played to expectations. The same can be said about the two Washington schools, but even in wins they remain on the outside looking in for at least another week.
As usual, take these with a grain of salt. They are September bowl projections, after all.
