PHILADELPHIA -- After adding three players to their 53-man roster Tuesday, the Eagles made some changes to their practice squad, as well.
The Eagles signed linebacker Brandon Hepburn and offensive lineman Tyler Hoover to the squad. They released linebacker Colton Underwood, who was signed to the practice squad last week.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Hepburn was a seventh-round pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2013 draft. Hepburn did not make the Lions’ roster last season, but re-signed with the team during the offseason. Hepburn, who played at Florida A&M, was released when the Lions cut their roster to 53.
The 6-7, 297-pound Hoover was a defensive lineman at Michigan State. He was undrafted and signed with the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts moved Hoover to the offensive line during training, but he didn’t make the final roster.
