No surprises in Eagles, Cowboys inactives

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles' short injury list makes for a tricky task when it comes to deciding which players are inactive on game day.

Quartertback Nick Foles was the only player who didn’t practice all week. He’s also the only injured player who is inactive player for tonight’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Defensive back Jerome Couplin, who was signed off the Detroit Lions’ practice squad, is also inactive. So are rookies Jaylen Watkins (defensive back) and Taylor Hart (defensive end). Veteran offensive linemen Julian Vandervelde and Dennis Kelly, along with wide receiver Jeff Maehl, are also inactive tonight.

The Cowboys’ inactives: quarterback Dustin Vaughan, offensive linemen Tony Hills and Donald Hawkins, defensive end Kenneth Boatright, linebacker Dekoda Watson, safety Jakar Hamilton and defensive tackle Josh Brent.
