Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger and wife welcome third baby

PITTSBURGH -- Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his wife, Ashley, welcomed their third child this week, ESPN confirmed.

Antonio Brown told ESPN last week that Steelers receivers hadn't yet scheduled a workout trip to Roethlisberger's lake house in Georgia, a yearly ritual, because Roethlisberger and his wife were planning for a baby.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported the Roethlisbergers had a boy. Ben Roethlisberger Jr. was born in 2012, and daughter Baylee was born in 2014.

Roethlisberger missed Thursday's organized team activities session, and the reason why was a great one.

Roethlisberger attended the first two days and he looks to be in good shape, saying he did "a lot of cardio" this offseason to best prepare for 2016.

Roethlisberger's favorite target, Brown, reported to OTAs on Thursday, but he'll have to wait until next week or so before he reconnects with his quarterback.
