Jamie Kennedy to promote 'Oh Sit!' at Mets

Die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan Jamie Kennedy will be donning a New York Mets jersey Sunday at Citi Field to throw out the first pitch against the Atlanta Braves.

It's taking a lot for Kennedy to go into enemy territory.

"I'm never going to be allowed in Philadelphia again!" Kennedy said. "What is going to happen to me!?"

Well, when you're there to promote a new TV show, you'll have to put your allegiance aside.

Kennedy is cohost of "Oh Sit!," a new musical chairs competition debuting 8 p.m. ET Wednesday on the CW. Contestants, listening to a live band, race head-to-head through obstacle-course eliminations to get to chairs. Only one contestant each week will be crowned the winner.

"It's really more than musical chairs. It's a combination of 'American Gladiator,' 'Wipeout' and a classic Japanese game show," Kennedy said. "I'm not saying it's the Olympics, but it's pretty physical. And it's always funny when you see the girls beat the boys. It's oddly compelling."

During Sunday's baseball game, some fans will get to play a version of musical chairs before the game and the winner will get a cash prize. And then Kennedy throws the first pitch.

"I think the last time I threw out the first pitch was seven years ago at a Dodgers game. It was high, hanging curve," Kennedy said. "I'm just hoping not to hit the dirt."
