SAN DIEGO -- With no players signed to the team’s active roster through waiver claims, the San Diego Chargers added seven players to the practice squad.

They include outside linebacker Ryan Mueller, running back Dreamius Smith, safety Adrian Phillips, cornerback Greg Ducre, nose tackle Damion Square, offensive lineman Michael Huey and receiver Javontee Herndon.

All seven players were part of San Diego’s 90-man roster during training camp. The Chargers lost tight end Brian Parker to the Kansas City Chiefs through waivers. San Diego still has three more open spots remaining on the practice squad.
