49ers status report: LB's Patrick Willis, Dan Skuta questionable to play

While running back Frank Gore returned to practice in a full capacity Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday with a hip issue -- he was listed as probable to play Sunday at New Orleans -- the San Francisco 49ers' linebacker corps remained a question mark.

Patrick Willis, who has missed the past two games with a toe injury on his left foot, and Dan Skuta, who sprained an ankle in Sunday’s loss to the St. Louis Rams, both missed practice for the third straight day. They are officially questionable to play.

Following is the 49ers’ status report for Sunday’s game against the Saints:

QUESTIONABLE: CB Tramaine Brock (toe), DT Quinton Dial (eye), WR Brandon Lloyd (hamstring), LB Skuta (ankle), LB Willis (toe)

PROBABLE: RB Gore (hip), DE Justin Smith (not injury related), DT Ian Williams (shin).
