49ers sign LB Nick Bellore

The San Francisco 49ers continue to add to their depth at linebacker as they announced the signing Friday of Nick Bellore to a two-year contract.

The 6-foot-1, 250-pound Bellore, who spent the past four seasons with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent out out Central Michigan, has played in all 64 games the past four years, though he has never started an NFL contest.

A special-teams player, he has 90 career special-teams tackles, including 15 last season, which ranked second on the team. Bellore, 25, had led the Jets in special-teams tackles in each of his first three seasons with 31 in 2011, 17 in 2012 and 27 in 2013.

The 49ers recently re-signed inside linebacker Desmond Bishop in the wake of retirements by Patrick Willis and Chris Borland.
