Thirteen Seahawks earn more than $100,000 in performance-based pay

Right tackle Garry Gilliam led the Seattle Seahawks in performance-based pay this year, earning an additional $329,384.24, according to records obtained by ESPN.com.

Per USA Today, that was the fourth-highest total for any player in the NFL.

Performance-based pay comes from a fund that was created in 2002 and is intended to reward lower-paid players based on playing time. Gilliam, who came into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014, was a 16-game starter last season.
