The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio is expected to be named the Temple head coach and that an announcement could come in the next day or two.

There were reports earlier this week that Addazio was headed to Texas to be the Longhorns' offensive line coach. Addazio wore a number of different hats this past year at Florida while Urban Meyer stepped away on his leave of absence. Addazio, who stepped in as interim head coach while Meyer was away, was one of the Gators' strongest recruiters.

But during this season, Addazio took considerable heat for a Florida offense that went belly-up and finished 10th in the SEC in total offense.
