Checking in on the Crimson Tide

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- I'll be on Alabama's campus later Wednesday and again on Thursday checking in on the defending national champion Crimson Tide and how their spring is going.

A lot of new faces are on defense for the Tide, but don't mistake that lack of experience for a lack of talent.

Plus, this offense should be one of the most explosive in the country with a fresh Mark Ingram and a fresh Trent Richardson coming at you at all times.

Check back the rest of this week and next week for updates on Alabama's spring practice. I look forward to catching up with Nick Saban, who's taken this program back to the top of college football in three short years.

Something tells me there are a few more titles in store for the Crimson Tide before Saban decides to go to his lake house in Georgia full time.

Then again, I can't imagine the guy not coaching football.
