A look at what happened over the last week in the world of Stanford recruiting.
The Cardinal recently offered defensive end Jordan Sherit (Tampa, Fla.), according to ESPN's Corey Long.
It was actually a pretty good week for the 6-3, 235-pounder, who said he picked up offers in one week from Stanford, Notre Dame and Mississippi State. "Miami, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Stanford are the ones recruiting me the hardest right now. They want me to call and check in every week," said Sherit.

Another Floridian also has an offer from Stanford, according to Long.
Defensive back Austin Logan (Tallahassee, Fla.) is also considering offers from Duke, Vanderbilt, South Florida, Florida International, Northwestern, Purdue and Georgia State.
Cornerback Ranthony Texada (Frisco, Texas) has gotten "correspondence" from Stanford, among others, but is hoping his performance at the Nike Football Training Combine in Dallas translates to scholarship offers, writes ESPN's Damon Sayles.
If the Cardinal want linebacker Ben Boulware (Anderson, S.C.), they'll have to contend with a lot of other schools. The 6-1, 225-pounder recently was offered by Texas A&M, writes ESPN's Jamie Newberg.
He already has offers from Georgia, UCLA and Clemson, among others.
