| Many of Brett Favre's records are regarded as "unbreakable." How true is that? |
In advance of Brett Favre's appearance on "Gruden's QB Camp" on Thursday (7 p.m. ET on ESPN), we take a look at who, if anyone, is in position to threaten some of his NFL records.
Favre ended his career with the most touchdown passes and passing yards in NFL history. Both of those records have since been broken by Peyton Manning, but Favre still holds plenty of marks, some of which might be untouchable.
297: Most consecutive starts by a QB in NFL history
Favre started 297 straight regular-season games from 1992 through 2010, 89 more consecutive starts than any other quarterback in NFL history.

Best chance to break it? Eli Manning would need to start all 16 games for the next seven seasons, as well as the first two games in the 2023 season, to reach Favre's mark. At that point, he would be 42 years old.
6,300: Most completions in NFL history
Favre completed 6,300 passes and was the only player with 6,000 completions when he retired, before Peyton Manning reached the milestone last season (he finished with 6,125 for his career).

Best chance to break it? Drew Brees has a shot. He needs 935 completions to tie Favre and has averaged 444 completions per season since the start of 2011. At that rate, Brees would break the record early in 2018, at age 39.
10,169: Most passes in NFL history
Favre is the only player to throw 10,000 passes in his career, and he threw at least 500 passes in 16 of his 20 seasons, also an NFL record.

Best chance to break it? Brees and Tom Brady both have a chance if they play into at least the 2019 season, but two younger quarterbacks could reach the mark down the road. Ryan Tannehill (2,248 attempts) and Andrew Luck (2,106) both rank in the top five in terms of most passes in a player's first four seasons.
336: Most interceptions thrown in NFL history
Favre surpassed George Blanda's mark for interceptions on Oct. 14, 2007, and then proceeded to throw 58 more interceptions.

Best chance to break it? This one might hold up for a while. Favre has 131 more interceptions than any other active player (Brees). Even Eli Manning, who leads the NFL in interceptions since 2013, would need to average 25 interceptions for the next 5˝ seasons to reach Favre's record.
