TAMPA, Fla. -- A look at Tampa Bay Buccaneers players who were "up" and those who were "down" in the team's 38-31 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday:

UP

Doug Martin: The running back gained 123 yards on 24 carries and scored three touchdowns -- two rushing and one receiving. All this happened against the NFL's fourth-best rush defense, which before Sunday had allowed just 83 yards per game.

Jameis Winston: The rookie quarterback played with much more control, and he completed 13 of 19 passes for 209 yards and one touchdown. He didn't commit any turnovers after throwing four interceptions in Week 4.

Connor Barth: He was an upgrade over rookie kicker Kyle Brindza, who was cut on Monday. Barth was 3-for-3 on field goals, including a long of 47 yards. He also made all three of his extra-point kicks.

DOWN

Vincent Jackson: It seemed like the potential would be there for Jackson to have a big day against the Jaguars, who entered with the NFL's 25th pass defense. But the veteran wide receiver had just one catch for 14 yards.

Tim Jennings: The cornerback was burned on multiple occasions on an afternoon when the Bucs' pass defense looked vulnerable. Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles completed 23 of 33 passes for a season-high 303 yards and four touchdowns, with one interception.
