Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston shares his thoughts on what MLB Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. meant to him at a young age as well as if he thinks about what life could have been for him if he pursued a career playing baseball. (0:43)

TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has an affinity for good hair and going to the barbershop on his day off. ESPN joined him for one of his recent appointments and got him to dish on everything from who has the best haircut on his team to ranking the beards.

Who has the best hair on your team?

Winston: The best hair ... Roberto Aguayo has some great hair. I mean, he has some GREAT hair. But ... let me see. I have to go with Berto. He or Brandon Myers take care of their hair better than anybody that I know. And I know Berto is constantly taking care of his hair, to the point where he will change his hairstyle just because he wants change.

If I pull out some pictures of your teammates, can you help me name some of their hairstyles?

Winston: I could.

OK, let’s play a little game: "Name that Hairstyle." Kwon Alexander, he’s always rocking that headband.

Winston: Yeah, me and Kwon always rock the headband. I don’t know if it’s an Alabama thing.

Gerald McCoy ...

Winston: Gerald always has nice and neat hair, that’s the main thing. I don’t know what kind of haircuit Gerald used to have, but he has those little twisty things at the top. Pretty swagged out. I don’t know if he’s going for the dread look, but it looks good to me. He’s always clean-cut.

Baby dreads?

Winston: Yeah, baby dreads.

What about Chris Conte?

Winston: Chris Conte has your stereotypical ... I don’t even know. It’s just the regular haircut with a mean look.

A mean look?

Winston: Yeah, what do you call that, G?

Gary, Winston's barber: That’s the gentleman’s cut.

Winston: That’s the gentleman’s cut. Yeah, he always looks like he’s ready to dress in a tuxedo. He’s a good-looking guy.

Now this isn’t current, but what is going on with Adam Humphries' hair here? That’s a lot of hair.

Winston: That’s probably after a loss against FSU ... him being at Clemson. Adam always has great hair. I don’t know what happened in this picture, but I’m pretty sure it’s a loss to FSU.

It’s a lot of volume and it’s feathered.

Winston: I don’t know what’s going on in that picture. That’s not Adam.

Now, Joe Hawley. I’ve gotta ask you about his beard. I mean, is this the most glorious beard on the team? Who has the best beard on the team?

Winston: Joe and Donovan [Smith] have very great beards. But Joe, man, his beard is the type of beard that you could sneak something in the airport, you know what I’m saying? You can get past the security gate with his beard. I’m pretty sure he has snuck a lot of people in that beard.

Sneak the playbook in there at all?

Winston: Sometimes I sneak my wristband in there. I just grab it out of his beard to see what play we’re running.

Speaking of Donovan, he’s a little bit of a different type of beard. There’s not quite as much volume there. You guys spend a lot of time together?

Winston: I think G actually cuts Donovan’s hair.

Gary: And Brandon Myers’ hair -- a big beard, too.

Winston: Donovan, man, he always looks good. He’s straight smooth, from New York. He’s always going to have a nice, clean-cut beard, always going to have a big smile on his face. He’s just a big teddy bear pretty boy (laughs).

A pretty boy?

Winston: A pretty-boy teddy bear. That’s what he is.

But that gives him a little bit of an edge there, the eyebrow (he has a stripe through it).

Winston: He’s always trying to find a way to be different and he always looks good, so I can’t blame him.
