Top 15 Buccaneers: No. 13

We continue our list of the top 15 Buccaneers with No. 13:

Mike Evans, wide receiver

What he did in 2013: In his final season at Texas A&M, Evans had 69 catches for 1,394 yards and two touchdowns. His most memorable game was against Auburn when he had 11 catches for 287 yards and four touchdowns.

Why he’s No. 13 in 2014: Evans, who was drafted No. 7 overall, is going to be an immediate starter opposite Vincent Jackson. He’s athletic and moves surprisingly well for a bigger receiver. Jackson always commands a lot of attention from opposing defenses. That could open the door for Evans to be very productive. Evans is likely to be the second option, behind Jackson, in the passing game as a rookie. But Jackson is getting older and Evans could replace him as the No. 1 receiver at some point in the future.
