@PatYazESPN What's the deal with AP and the Bucs?— Garrett Janssen (@GJanssen24) April 24, 2015
@PatYazESPN: At this point, it's nothing but speculation about the Bucs having interest in Adrian Peterson. He obviously would provide a big boost for a running game that wasn't very good last season. But the cost of getting Peterson would be high in two regards. The Vikings are likely to want at least a first-round pick. The Bucs aren't about to give up this year's first pick. Even giving up next year's first-round choice is probably more than the Bucs are willing to part with. Then, there's the matter of paying Peterson's large contract. At best, the Bucs landing Peterson is a long shot.
@PatYazESPN Do you see the Bucs addressing the slot receiver position in the draft? Possibly with Rashad Greene as a pick?— John Prowell (@jprowell) April 24, 2015
@PatYazESPN: Not sure it will be Greene, but I do think there's an excellent chance the Bucs draft a slot receiver. They're in good shape at all the other offensive skill positions and they want to surround a rookie quarterback (presumably Jameis Winston) with as much talent as possible. In an ideal world, that slot receiver also would have ability as a return man.
@PatYazESPN: The Bucs have needs at guard and tackle. I can see them addressing both spots in the draft.
@PatYazESPN: The Bucs are one of the few teams without an indoor practice facility of their own. I don't know of any plans to change that and it's not like they have to worry about cold and snow. When they have had bad weather in the past, they have used Tropicana Field for practice. That's a bit of a ride, but it only happens once or twice a season.
